Self storage is short for self-service storage, which means self-service storage in Hungarian. This is an industry that also provides storage facilities for tenants, usually for short term (often monthly). The tenants of self-service storage are both enterprises and individuals. INTERTRANSCOOP opened its first self-store in 2014. The idea was given by Discovery Channel programmes - the Warehouse Hunters and Licitators - known by many, which showed the popularity and usefulness of self-service storage.
